A casing advancement system is the most efficient and cost-effective way to drill into difficult ground conditions. It is ideal for controlling cuttings while simultaneously drilling and driving casing. We offer both a bolt-on option and a pneumatic diverter option.
Bolt-On Diverter
This diverter does not require any pneumatic or hydraulic power to operate.
The lower portion of the diverter locks onto the casing and will rotate independently of the outlet body when the casing turns allowing discharge control of drill cuttings. This, along with proven seal technology eliminates debris from raining down on the operator and equipment. The anti rotation arm seats against rig mast and prevents upper portion of the diverter from rotating.
The casing advancement diverters are equipped with a 6” ID outlet suitable for welding on desired discharge hose connection. The anti-rotation arms are available by request for either or both sides. There are two available models to accommodate 4 1/2” - 10” casing and 10 3/4” - 14” casing.
Pneumatic Diverter
The pneumatic fixed diverter is designed to enhance the efficiency of your drilling operations. This diverter adapts to all types of drilling rigs and provides a fast, effortless solution that significantly reduces casing handling time, leading to increased productivity.
The diverter is easily attached to the rotation head using two air cylinders and is operated via a pneumatic remote-control valve located on the control panel. With this system, the operator has full control to raise or lower the diverter to expose the top of the drill tube, or to apply down pressure to the casing when necessary.
One of the key features of this diverter is its ability to rotate along with the casing on its bearing, ensuring smooth operation and minimizing friction, should the casing turn.
